Guidelines for safer training:
Please wash or sanitize hands when entering and leaving.
Please take your temperature and sign in when entering.
For kids classes, we will maintain 6 ft apart and no contact will be made. We will still have fun and learn lots of cool martial arts stuff that will count towards your belt promotions. We are offering the day time kids classes to help keep class sizes down to allow for spacing between students.
We ask that parents stay spread out, or wait outside of the building.
For ALL classes, please enter at the time of class and we ask for limited congregating inside of the gym.
Classes are shorter to allow for more time between classes.
Bathrooms will be sanitized between classes.
We ask that kids do not play on any gym equipment or in the cage.
We ask that you use your best judgment when deciding to train or letting your kids train.
For now, please come to only one or two classes per week to help keep class sizes down.
Please do not come to Method while you are sick.
Please follow CDC guidelines if you have been sick:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
***I think or know I had COVID-19, and I had symptoms***
You can be with others after 3 days with no fever and Symptoms improved and 10 days since symptoms first appeared
***I tested positive for COVID-19 but had no symptoms.***
If you continue to have no symptoms, you can be with others after: 10 days have passed since test
***For Anyone Who Has Been Around a Person with COVID-19***
It is important to remember that anyone who has close contact with someone with COVID-19 should stay home for 14 days after exposure based on the time it takes to develop illness.
Adult BJJ classes will be formatted approximately in the following way:
6 ft apart. No contact warm ups. No contact BJJ solo drills.
Demonstration by instructors.
Safest option: To take notes and observe. This will not negatively impact your belt progression.
Higher Risk option: You may drill with a designated partner of your choice.
Question and answer section.
End with BJJ cool down/ stretches.
There will be opportunities for adults to grapple after class. We HIGHLY recommend picking a small group of 2, 3, or 4 partners
to roll with if you choose to roll. Please let each opponent/ team mate know your exposure level and be honest about your
health. If you are concerned about rolling please do NOT ROLL. You will in no way be penalized or held back because of that decision. Our goal is to provide a safe and healthy environment. Email us if you have ANY questions or concerns.
